Friends and Family,
It is amazing that today is our last work day in Kenya. We are ending this trip by preaching at the church we planted in Kijiwe Tonga, and another church in Muyeye. Today we are celebrating all the work the Lord has done during our time here and the work He will continue to do when we leave. Tomorrow we will rest and fellowship with each other as well as with our hosts, Ezekiel and Debbie. These two have been a huge blessing to us all and we are so thankful to have been given the opportunity to work with them. I cannot even express how much the two love the Lord and fully trust Him. We are all blown away about how fast this trip has gone by. We are torn between feeling sad about leaving, but excited to see all of our family and friends.
God has blessed us so much here and we have experienced His goodness in a new way. We have loved getting to know our Father more and sharing in His heart for the Kenyan people. God has used us to plant more seeds than we even realize and we fully trust Him to grow and nurture His children. We have all experienced so much and our eyes have been open to so many things that we can't fully process everything. I know that God is going to continue to minister to us through this trip even when we are back home. Continue to pray for our team as we say our goodbyes here and as we travel home.
Again, we thank you all for your prayers and support. We appreciate you all more than you realize.

First of all we apologize for the slow updates. We have been SO busy and getting Internet has been a challenge.
Here is the update:
We left Mnarani last Thursday and now staying at Breeze Point in Malindi. Friday through Sunday we travelled to the town of Watamu where we primarily did door-to-door evangelism. We saw numerous people come to Christ for the first time! We also discipled and encouraged many people who were already believers. Many of us had the opportunity to share with Muslims for the first time and saw God planting seeds in their hearts. We worked with Pastor Samuel and his church body. This is the same pastor the team worked with last year so it was a joy to get to work with him for the second time! On Saturday we visited a local orphanage and got to share with 45 little ones who were so happy to spend time with us! They were such a joy to be around. Chase, Ariel, and Katy got to pray healing over one of the boys that has HIV right before he left for the hospital. They were very moved by the eye-opening experience. We are continuing to pray for this little boy that God will perform a miracle and fully restore his body. He is only 9 years old.
Pastor Samuel shared with us some awesome testimonies about two people the team ministered to last year. One was about a young man named Jackson who had Muscular Distrophy and could barely walk. Everyone on the team last year was so moved by his joyful attitude and his strong faith in God's healing. We prayed over him last year and we learned that he now is COMPLETELY healed!!! Praise Jesus!!! We could not see him this year because he is now attending college in Nairobi. The other testimony was about a woman who was a member of the church who was diagnosed with breast cancer. The team last year also prayed for healing and I am happy to report that she is also COMPLETELY healed!!! These testimonies were such an encouragement to me and the team. We remember how powerful prayer is and we have faith God is going to heal the boy with HIV as well as the others we have prayed for. These testimonies were shared at such a perfect time, when we all needed a reminder of God's faithfulness.
On Sunday our team split in to two to visit two different churches. Chase preached about being a disciple of Christ, a need we discovered about the people of Watamu. Kayla preached at the other church about God's love and our response to His love. After church we were given the chance to disciple youth age kids where we split in groups by gender and talked about relationships. We learned this isn't a topic spoken about a whole lot. We loved getting to speak the Lord's truth on this topic. Evan got to pour in to boys of the ages 12 and 13 and spoke about families and school. They also asked him questions about America like "are you allowed to meet the president?"
This week we are working on planting a church in a new village outside of Malindi. Kayla reminded us what an awesome opportunity it is to be able to help form a new body of Christ through a church body. We are all so excited to be used by God in this way.
Please continue to pray for our team. Sometimes we get so exhausted and need the Lord's strength to keep going. Continue to pray for health and energy. Our time here is going by so fast and we want every moment to count as we pour out Christ's love on these people.
